Telecaster dating serial number

See the explanation below: 1107064001 First digit indicates where it was made.

Well gang here it is the ultimate list on serial numbers from today to yesterday.

Now I know there are a few yawning out there but think of those who do not know how to read them.

(lots of knocks and dinks, picked it up for next to nothing, seems quite rare to me) Fender Strat Sunburst (2007 - Mexican) - good guitar Fender USA Strat 1957-2007 Special Edition (awesome, 3 position pickup selector! Korean Squiers: C refers to Cort, V refers to Saehan(Sunghan), S was already taken by Samick so Saehan(Sunghan) used V instead (Saehan(Sunghan) made the Vester guitars). The second character refers to the decade: N represents Nineties (1990's). So, for example "CN6" = made by Cort in 1996 and "VN6" = made by Saehan(Sunghan) in 1996. I have a guitar synth system, so I plan to fit the synth pickup to this.

Exceptions: Pro-Tone Series (solid ash bodies) had serial numbers with either a) no preceding letters and 7 digits, with the first number being the year, or b) starting with KC for Korean Cort, followed by 2-digit year.

The 4-bolt neck guitars and 6-bolt basses changed to serial numbers beginning with "CL".

About one year later, the numbers changed to a "CLF" prefix.

9-Digit Serial Numbers From 1993 until the end of 1999, each Taylor guitar featured a nine-digit serial number that pinpoints when work began on that guitar, along with its series and production position.

See the explanation for serial number 980311301 below: 980311301 First two digits indicate the year - 98 (1998) 980311301 3rd & 4th digits indicate the two-digit month - 03 (March) 980311301 5th & 6th digit indicate the day - 11 (the 11th) 980311301 7th digit is a series code number - 0 for 300 or 400 Series, 1 for 500 through Presentation Series, 2 for 200 Series, 3 for a Baby, 4 for a Big Baby, 5 for a T5, 7 for Nylon Series, 8 for 100 Series, and 9 for Solid Body Series. 980311301 Last two digits indicate the guitar's position in that day's production sequence.

I hope this list will be a useful one to all at ICW.
