I'm having a very annoying problem with Battlefield 3.

My game will randomly minimize itself and I am unable to maximize the window again. My specs are:gtx 570i5 2500kwindows 7 648 gb ram I have the latest updated drivers as well and it seems to occur completely randomly.

I am only able to resolve it if I uninstall Norton completely then BF4 works fine with no issues. I'm hoping either someone else has this issue and has been able to resolve it, or possibly Symantec reads these board and resolves it. If it was a Norton problem, then you wouldn't be able to connect at all to BF 4. Have you entered both BF4 and Punkbuster .exe's to the Quiet Mode under User-Specified Mode? I'm going to turn one on at a time until I'm kicked then let Evenbalance and Symantec figure it out. Idle time optimizer, special offer notifications, firefox cleanup I would leave off.

As it stands now I've uninstalled Norton and will no longer be using the product if this is not resolved - Norton Security with Backup user 2007-2015 Hello Frustrated222 Have you contacted Punkbuster to see how they say to resolve this issue? You enter the .exe's and Norton won't bother you until you finish playing. power saving mode if you have a laptop probably should be on..

Welcome to PBBans, like most online communities you must register to view or post in our community, but don't worry this is a simple free process that requires minimal information for you to signup.

Be apart of PBBans by signing in or creating an account. As usual, it will take some time before a majority of the servers have updated to this new version, so you might experience some connection issues in the upcoming hours.

Completing these steps and reverting your Settings back to Default will cause you to lose your single-player game progression.

Go to your Start Menu and select My Documents, then Battlefield 3, and finally Settings.

You can expect some downtime around these times as servers are being prepared to support this new content.
